During my Siemens’s working history, over the last 8 years, I have moved from support type work to software developement, first as a developer then as software architect, Project Manager and Resource Manager (for the last 4 years).

Going trough all these phases helped me understand how a developer thinks, what he wants and what motivates him.

Also my experience as an assistant for a couple of years at Transilvania University, working with students (in parallel with the Siemens assignments) gave me the needed insight on the importance of coaching and mentoring.

As a Department and Project Manager i am responsible for a group of 60 people located in  USA and Romania (Brasov and Cluj).

My current responsibilities include:

·         Project strategy

·         Project management

·         Financial , Resource and Activities planning

·         Recruiting and training

·         Team coaching , mentoring and motivation

    Working for long periods in Austria and  USA and being part of different teams, first as a team member and then as a Project Manager helped me understand the cultural differences, team dynamics and the benefits of a well organized project from all points of view: management,  budget, resource, quality and last but not least having the right person for the right job.
