Software Process Improvement proves to be a difficult task when we consider people. We can build standards, methodologies and new processes, we can easily find some enthusiastic colleagues willing to work with us, but when we think at a larger scale, when we start to deploy organisationally these projects, we often encounter big problems, despite training and communication.
How to move people to drive into a new direction ? The  keyword is motivation. The presentation is bringing two domains together: human resources management and software process improvement, with methods and tools curently available to motivate people, both financial and non-financial.
